How do payments work?

Regular orders are paid in full. Custom orders require a 50% deposit. Events require a 30% retainer.

What are the cancellation windows?

Regular: cancel at least 24h → refund minus 25% fee. Custom: cancel at least 1 week → deposit kept; under 1 week → 50% of remaining balance refunded. Events: cancel at least 1 month → retainer kept; 2–4 weeks → 50% of remaining balance refunded; under 2 weeks → no refund.

Any allergen concerns?

Products are made in a home kitchen and may contain or contact wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, and nuts. Proper storage after pickup is the customer’s responsibility.

By placing an order, purchasing a product, joining our email list, downloading digital content, or interacting with Bite Me Goodies (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These Terms apply to all physical products, preorders, digital products, services, and future offerings.

1. Business Scope

Bite Me Goodies operates as:

A Texas cottage bakery producing baked goods under the Texas Cottage Food Law
A creator of digital products including recipes, guides, and educational content
A brand offering limited drops, preorders, and future products, services, and experiences

All offerings—current and future—are governed by these Terms.

2. Cottage Food Disclosure

All edible products are made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Texas Department of State Health Services and may contain allergens.

3. Orders, Preorders & Payment

All products are made to order or released in limited drops.
Orders are not confirmed until full payment is received unless otherwise stated.
Preorders secure a limited production spot and are reserved specifically for each customer.
Deposits and preorder payments are non-refundable.
Prices, availability, and offerings may change at any time.

4. Lead Times

Minimum 48 hours for standard orders
Longer lead times may apply for custom or large orders

Lead times may vary based on demand, volume, and seasonal availability. Rush orders are not guaranteed and may be declined.

5. Pickup & Delivery

Pickup orders must be collected within the scheduled time window.
Orders not picked up on time may be considered abandoned and will not be refunded.
Delivery windows are limited. If the customer is unavailable, the order is considered fulfilled.
Once an order leaves our possession, responsibility transfers to the customer.

Delivery timing is an estimate and may be affected by traffic, weather, or other factors outside our control.

6. Limited Availability

Bite Me Goodies operates in small batches. Availability is limited and not guaranteed. Products may sell out quickly, and once a drop or preorder is full, additional orders may not be accepted.

7. Allergens & Food Safety

Products may contain or come into contact with milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and other allergens. An allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed. Customers assume all risk and should inquire before ordering if they have concerns.

8. Custom Work & Product Variations

All products are handcrafted. Variations in color, glaze, texture, size, and appearance are normal and not considered defects. Reference images are used for inspiration only.

9. Storage & Product Care

Follow storage instructions provided.
Products are best enjoyed the same day unless otherwise noted.

We are not responsible for quality issues caused by improper storage, transport, or delayed serving after pickup or delivery.

10. Digital Products

Digital products are for personal use only.
They may not be copied, shared, resold, or redistributed.
Access is granted upon purchase via download or email.

11. Refund & Cancellation Policy

All sales are final. Refunds, if any, are issued only in rare circumstances at our discretion. For full details, please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

12. Quality Concerns

Any quality concerns must be reported within 24 hours of pickup or delivery and include clear photo documentation. We reserve the right to determine an appropriate resolution.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bite Me Goodies is not liable for indirect or incidental damages. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service.

14. Intellectual Property

All recipes, branding, images, content, and materials are the intellectual property of Bite Me Goodies and may not be used without permission.

15. Photography & Marketing

We may photograph products for marketing. If you prefer your order not be shared, you must notify us in writing before your order date.

16. Privacy

Your information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

18. Updates

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
