How do payments work?

Regular orders are paid in full. Custom orders require a 50% deposit. Events require a 30% retainer.

What are the cancellation windows?

Regular: cancel at least 24h → refund minus 25% fee. Custom: cancel at least 1 week → deposit kept; under 1 week → 50% of remaining balance refunded. Events: cancel at least 1 month → retainer kept; 2–4 weeks → 50% of remaining balance refunded; under 2 weeks → no refund.

Any allergen concerns?

Products are made in a home kitchen and may contain or contact wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, and nuts. Proper storage after pickup is the customer’s responsibility.

By purchasing a product, placing an order, downloading digital content, scheduling an appointment, or otherwise engaging with Bite Me Goodies (“we,” “us,” “our”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions. These Terms apply to all physical products, digital products, services, and future offerings provided by Bite Me Goodies.

1. Business Scope

Bite Me Goodies operates as:

A Texas cottage bakery producing baked goods under the Texas Cottage Food Law
A creator and seller of digital products, including recipes, packets, guides, downloads, and educational materials
A brand that may expand into future products, services, classes, subscriptions, collaborations, merchandise, or events

All offerings—current and future—are governed by these Terms.

2. Cottage Food Disclosure (Physical Products Only)

All edible products are made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Texas Department of State Health Services and may contain allergens.

3. Orders & Payment

All products are made to order.
Orders are not confirmed until payment is received in full, unless otherwise stated.
Deposits, when required, are non-refundable.
Prices and availability are subject to change at any time.

4. Lead Times (Physical Products)

Minimum 48 hours for standard orders
Approximately 2 weeks for larger orders
Up to 2 months for major events or large custom work

Lead times may vary based on demand, availability, and season. Rush requests may be declined at our discretion.

5. Appointments

Appointments are optional but recommended for large orders, events, or custom planning. Appointments do not guarantee availability without payment or order confirmation.

6. Pickup & Delivery

Pickup orders must be collected within 30 minutes of the scheduled pickup time.
Bite Me Goodies will attempt to contact the customer up to two (2) times.
Orders not picked up within the pickup window may be considered a no-show and may be discarded without refund.
For deliveries, Bite Me Goodies will wait up to 15 minutes at the delivery location.
If the customer is unavailable after 15 minutes, the delivery will be considered fulfilled with no refund.
Once an order is picked up or a delivery attempt has been made, responsibility transfers to the customer.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

7. Allergens & Food Safety

Products may contain or come into contact with milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and other allergens. An allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed. Consumption is at the customer’s own risk.

8. Custom Work & Product Variations

All physical products are handcrafted and custom. Variations in color, glaze, texture, size, and appearance are natural and not considered defects. Reference images are used for inspiration only.

9. Safe Handling & Best Quality (Physical Products)

Products are packaged in bakery boxes.
Refrigerate upon receipt unless otherwise instructed.
Bring to room temperature before serving.
Best enjoyed the same day of pickup or delivery.

Bite Me Goodies is not responsible for quality issues caused by improper storage, delayed serving, heat exposure, or handling outside our control.

10. Digital Products & Downloads

Licensed for personal use only.
May not be shared, resold, copied, or redistributed.
Delivered via download, email, or third-party platforms.

11. No Refund Policy (All Products & Services)

All sales are final.
No refunds will be issued once a purchase is completed.
Refunds will only be considered in extreme circumstances, at the sole discretion of Bite Me Goodies.
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
Digital products are non-refundable once delivered or accessed.

12. Quality Concerns

Any quality concerns must be reported within 24 hours of pickup or delivery and include photo documentation.

13. Use, Storage & Responsibility

Customers assume full responsibility for proper handling and storage of physical products and proper use of digital products and instructions.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bite Me Goodies shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service.

15. Intellectual Property

All content, including recipes, digital products, images, branding, logos, text, designs, and educational materials, are the exclusive intellectual property of Bite Me Goodies.

16. Photography & Promotion

Bite Me Goodies may photograph physical products for marketing and promotional purposes. If you prefer your order not be photographed or shared, you must notify us in writing prior to your order date.

17. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

19. Changes & Future Offerings

Bite Me Goodies reserves the right to update these Terms and introduce new products or services at any time. Continued use or purchase constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
