How do payments work?

Regular orders are paid in full. Custom orders require a 50% deposit. Events require a 30% retainer.

What are the cancellation windows?

Regular: cancel at least 24h → refund minus 25% fee. Custom: cancel at least 1 week → deposit kept; under 1 week → 50% of remaining balance refunded. Events: cancel at least 1 month → retainer kept; 2–4 weeks → 50% of remaining balance refunded; under 2 weeks → no refund.

Any allergen concerns?

Products are made in a home kitchen and may contain or contact wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, and nuts. Proper storage after pickup is the customer’s responsibility.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Owner: Bite Me Goodies — Elgin, Texas (Bastrop County)

Because Bite Me Goodies products are made to order, perishable, and often limited in availability, all sales are final. This policy applies to physical baked goods, preorders, digital products, recipes, downloads, guides, classes, and any future offerings unless otherwise stated in writing.

1. All Sales Are Final

All sales are final.
No refunds will be issued once an order or purchase has been placed.
Refunds, if any, are granted only in rare circumstances at the sole discretion of Bite Me Goodies.
Deposits, retainers, preorder payments, and partial payments are non-refundable.
Digital products are non-refundable once delivered, accessed, or downloaded.

2. Cancellations, Pickups & No-Shows

Cancelled orders are not eligible for refunds.
No refunds will be issued for missed pickups, abandoned orders, no-shows, missed delivery windows, or scheduling conflicts on the customer’s end.
Orders must be picked up or received within the agreed time frame. If not, the order will be considered fulfilled.
Bite Me Goodies is not responsible for product quality after pickup, drop-off, or delivery has been completed.

3. Preorders & Limited Drops

Preorder spots are limited and reserved specifically for each customer.
Once a preorder is placed, that space is held and cannot be guaranteed to another customer.
For that reason, preorder purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable unless approved by Bite Me Goodies in writing.

4. Quality Concerns

If you believe there is an issue with the quality of your order, you must contact Bite Me Goodies within 24 hours of pickup or delivery and include clear photo documentation. We reserve the right to review the concern and determine an appropriate resolution, if any. A replacement, store credit, partial credit, or other resolution may be offered at our discretion. Reporting a concern does not guarantee a refund.

5. Digital Products

All digital products are delivered electronically.
Once a digital product has been sent, accessed, or downloaded, it is non-refundable.
Failure to read the product description, instructions, or compatibility details does not qualify for a refund.

6. Allergens, Handling & Storage

Products are made in a home kitchen and may come into contact with common allergens including wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, and nuts. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient information, asking questions before ordering, and storing products properly after pickup or delivery. Bite Me Goodies is not responsible for issues caused by improper storage, delayed serving, transport by the customer, or failure to disclose allergy concerns before purchase.

7. Policy Acknowledgement

By placing an order or completing a purchase with Bite Me Goodies, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
